Does anyone know what the deal was with him asking for his release from the Pats? I would really love to have a player with his talents replacing what Walker is incapable of doing. Just imagine him and Davis together, as long as he's 100% and motivated.

I'm not a huge fan of Walker. He does his part, but I'm starting to become more interested in the possibility of drafting Ertz next year.

Winslow's relevance will end once Hernandez comes back. I doubt that's the reason he asked for his release because he knew this before he signed.

I read that Hernandez will be back earlier then expecteded and Winslow would have only a game maybe 2 to showcase his talent rather then the 4 to 6 games that was originally thought.

I'd be kind of surprised if he didn't find a team, he was pretty successful in Tampa before he was traded. I could see some team taking a look at him, Raiders maybe?

winslow should be an upgrade over walker.

I just posted a link, there are also plenty more on the net. A lingering injury can be classified as personal reasons.

Unfortunately, I think Walker is pretty irreplaceable in-season with out offense. Anyone coming in to take that job would probably take a month at least to fully understand Walker's role.

Sure his hands suck, but look at everything he's asked to do when he's not dropping the ball (motion etc).
