I can honestly say that I was ELATED when I found out that Sabean signed Bochy. I have always respected the hell out of what Bochy did for EVERY team's bullpen that he has coached. No matter how cheap the SD management decided to be from year to year, the one thing that was constant was that each RP in a Bochy bully knew their role, prepared for their role, and maximized the production of relative journeymen.
