I don't think he did anything intentional, he was taangled with him and sadly it caused a dislocation. Perkins ONLY getting a fine is flat out WRONG! He clearly needed to be suspended just like Smith

I guess I'm just being homer but I thought one should suffice but in no way am I mad that he got 2. 4+ and I wouldn't be happy. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us, JR let the team and fans down big time.

I would need to hear the reasoning behind the suspension, but he either should have gotten a major suspension because they ruled he did it purposefully or nothing at all.

Players get tangled up all the time and try to separate.

It was unfortunate for Love but also unintentional.

Love did separate his shoulder but BOTH players arms were locked together.... fine but not a suspension at all....but Perkins getting a fine is just ridiculously stupid

I can't agree with you on that one because I have experienced what it takes to knock a shoulder out of place. It takes a lot of force. The hit it took to do that exceeds any natural basket ball movements. I think he was damned lucky to only get 2. Perkins got lucky too. He should have been suspended for being a dick(and an ex Celtics player)

Olynyk did grab the arm but I don't believe it was to injure Love. Love would have gotten to the loose ball if they hadn't been tangled and Olynyk holding his arm and if Olynyk doesn't get called for the foul because Love doesn't get hurt then Love touched the ball last and it would have been Celtics ball.

It wasn't an natural basket ball motion because Olynyk grabbed his arm but not to hurt it. I believe it was to prevent Love from getting to the loose ball that he had touched last. If his shoulder doesn't pop out then a foul may not have been called at all and it would have been Celtics ball. That isn't what happened which is too bad. For those saying Bush League this and that if that were really the case Perkins finishes the game being taken out on a stretcher.

Basically, Kelly Olynyk got suspended because Love got hurt. Guys lock arms like that all the time.

It was bush league in my opinion for one main reason ===> It takes a tremendous amount of force to knock a shoulder out it's socket - An un-natural force. I will give them a pass and agree that his intention might not have been to hurt, but I won't rule it out either because let's face it. Perkins was a dirty player too and I think there was some retaliation going down in that game.
