Jose Bautista is evil incarnate in human form; arrogant, dirty, and worst of all- Canadian!
LOL at the moral high ground Rangers fans are trying to take.
"If you ever have a dirty slide, I have no respect for you and you should be punched."
Just in case Rangers fans hadn't noticed, every team has had a player that made a dirty slide at some point in their team's franchises. You guys are acting like he punched a baby, or did something so incredibly awful that no else has or could do the same thing
He'll get 10... then he appeals it and gets it reduced to 7-8.
Bautista will probably get 3...appeal it and have it dropped to 1 or 2.
Plus of course the obligatory fine$...
Not sure about the others involved.
Yes. It's a travesty. If Bautista wasn't such a douche, Odor wouldn't have had to punch him in self-defense. Now he's going to lose $50,000- $50,000 that would have gone straight to the Boys and Girls Club in America in the Houston area. Plus, with the fine, Odor can only give 20 dollar bills to homeless people he sees downtown, instead of the usual 50 he gives themThey're pretty morally outraged, aren't they?
I hope he's balls-deep in a quart of scotch when the ruling comes down and we have an old-fashioned SportsHoopla meltdown.
It'll be bourbon if anything. He'll appeal whatever it is and get it knocked down. No melt downs here. I ain't giving you bitches the satisfaction.

Bush gets susp. 2 games and will lose his visiting day, library privileges and jello desserts for 1 week....
Chavez gets 1 game.
Plus of course the obligatory fine$ all around....

I don't know. That article Hammer linked to mentioned that Utley got 2 games for his slide last year that was significantly worse.
What's with the avatar, Champ? Trying to get @Dolemite censored to follow you?
Not into fat chicks at all.
Upper weight target for me is 145-155, depending on height.
The league just handed down a harsh ruling on Matt Bush.
He must watch John Gibbons drink a 12-pack before his next post-game press conference while maintaining his own sobriety.
This is why we question your blackness.
Whatever the league hands out to Bush, could that be considered a violation of his probation terms?

Surely it'd have to be criminal activity, wouldn't it?
Not sure...and I believe each case is judged exclusive from the next taking into consideration for precedent etc...and MLB has a wide criteria in that regard. Also not sure what's been written into his contract agreement, or if there've been added clauses.
SportsHoopla reporters have reached out to Rangers fans about Matt Bush's actions in the fracas.
Their response was pretty simple.
"He was just defending himself."
