Saw a few articles on this but how can it be fixed? The Seahawks need to make this work as it would suck to lose a 1st round pick and a decent center for something that does not work.

Jimmy Graham Reportedly "Pissed Off" at Seahawks

After a Pro Bowl season in each of the last two years, Jimmy Graham got dealt to defending conference champ Seattle in a move that appeared to make the Seahawks even more formidable. But, only two games into this season, Graham is reportedly "pissed off" about his role in the Pacific Northwest, which has featured way too many plays where he's expected to block or be a decoy.

After Sunday's loss to Green Bay, a game in which he was only targeted twice, Graham declined to speak to the media. According to Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman, he isn't going to stay silent much longer if his underutilization continues.

Graham told us in an interview last week about his new team:

"Well this team is so good, you truly don’t know when you’re opportunity will come. I want to take every opportunity and make a play that helps us win each and every one of these games. That’s how this offense is built. It’s explosive plays and they run the ball. So I want to be one of those explosive plays. Several of them, actually."

Fast forward two games and the team's 0-2, with Graham sitting at 62 yards on 10 targets.

It seems like offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell can't win no matter what he does. In week one it was Marshawn Lynch's mom. In week two it's his star tight end. We shall have to wait and see if the gameplan changes this week when the team goes up against the Chicago Bears, whose rancid ass defense is the perfect opposition to right your offensive ship against.

Graham is an idiot... He went to a run-first offensive team. Of course he is blocking more than he's accustomed to. He only has himself to be mad at.

They're not even targeting him. I'm sure he knew that there'd be a drop off but this is ridiculous. Bevell's doing a horrible job of integrating him into the offensive game plan, which is not much of a shocker.

Not Grahams fault. He was traded. Totally on Seattle coaches. They have a weapon of his caliber and are too bonehead stubborn to use him. Wilson needs to wake up also. Just because there is a DB running with him, doesn't mean he is covered. I think Wilson needs to learn that he has a couple guys to throw to now that will usually win the fight for the ball. Mathew is the other one. If they can't break out against the Bears its going to be pathetic.

He was traded... didn't really have a choice. It's not like he was a free agent and signed with Seattle.

Seattle needs to 1) Stop asking Graham to block so much... go pick up a blocking TE for CHEAP if that's what you want... Luke Willson had more targets than Graham, wtf? 2) Just THROW it to him. NO had a philosophy, ANY time single coverage with Graham, throw it to him. He's 6'7". No secondary or LBer can compete with that. The one target that he didn't catch, the ball was at waist level.... and GB corner naturally made a good play, get the ball UP, 3) spread him out.... there's a reason NO was spreading him out 75%+ of plays.

Why would you take a receiving only TE type player and try to develop his blocking? That makes zero sense.

If that was the case, Seattle should've kept Unger, paid Jordan Cameron (better blocker) $2.5M less, and drafted someone like Green-Beckham.

The biggest obstacle is Pete. His formula of run first and play defense has served him well over his career so having a guy with Grahams talents is really a waste on this team. This could be a top offense if they changed a bit and opened it up early and often and got away from the predictable.

Eh Seattle will prob. destroy Chicago/Detroit at home with Graham since both teams have no pass rush and much defense at this point and Graham will be happy. The guy wasn't exactly a locker room hero in New Orleans either.....

Lynch being a dick to kids, Kam holding out, Graham pissed at the team, Wilson throwing costly picks at the worst time, etc.

This does not sound like the Seahawks. Good thing there is still plenty of time to right the ship. The Bears at home is the perfect remedy to get things moving in the right direction. However if thy find a way to lose...

I have no doubt that Graham is frustrated. Who wouldn't be?

But that doesn't mean that he's "pissed" at the team and ready to explode. That's just Freeman trolling.

I'm pretty sure he was traded to Seattle, it's not like he chose them

Anyone remember when quotation marks were used for actual quotes? Now they use them in the headline for innuendo.

It's been 2 fucking games. Jesus, the tidal wave of Seahawks threads is beginning again. When do we start getting blamed for posting all of them? Week 4?

Nonexistent Lynch assault, Graham is "reportedly" really pissed off. People here are really tightly wound over Seahawks gossip.

If the Hawks turn it around and start winning, they won't want to talk about them any more.

And the minute any of us say something positive about them suddenly we won't shut up about it and are just homer fans starting in 2012.

stfu you bunch of pussies. Post all you want about yer Hawks and let the complainers be damned. Don't be the complainers.

This shit comes with winning. Folks will jump the team when they lose. Haven't seen too much of Hammer's severely diminished skills talk about Brady have you? As soon as he has a couple of interceptions in a loss, it'll be time to call for Garappolo again.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

"reportedly pissed off"

Sports journalism 101: If a sports figure has a semi valid reason to complain but has yet to say a word.

Make shit up.
