Not a Seahawks fan but Jimmy G is the better fit to win the next couple of seasons. His stats are better, he knows the division, and he understands his role.

The Seahawks aren’t looking to build around their 2022 QB. They just want a guy who helps them for now.

Well then they might as well trade Metcalf and Lockett because the thought of Jimmy passing a ball over 15 yards is laughable.

I can't remember what game it was, but he actually had NEGATIVE yards through the air, and had like 150 yards passing... lol. Guy is the definition of checkdown and relies on short over the middle passes with an elite TE.

Do you even understand what I was saying? It seems like you don't. BM isn't in the same category as Wilson. The stats I mentioned prove that.

And remember you're the one that went outta your way to mention Wilson's ypg his first three seasons. So you tried to make a Wilson/BM comparison for some strange reason when I wasn't comparing the two.
Never said I was comparing them as a whole I am just saying Bakers plays for the Browns, No one will have success for the browns. I include Wilson in that as even Wilson wouldn't have had much better success. Also yes Wilson is on a whole other level than Baker is but when he was young Wilson's numbers were about the same. Wilson was just More, More athletic, More accurate, just better but he also had a all time great defense backing him up. I am saying that no one has seen the best Mayfield could be and they never will on the browns. Even Wilson would have sucked for the Browns. lol

It has to be. He's under contract and SF won't release him.
Yeah I definitely want in on any wager about that. I'll even give you odds.

Well I was only talking about BM and no other QB's. It was you that went outta your way to mention Wilson.

Here's what you originally responded to.

He's never averaged alotta ypg, 235.4. His TD to int ratio is decent, 92/56. But his completion percentage isn't good, only 61.6 (wasn't even top 25 last season). And only Trevor Lawrence averaged fewer ypg last season.

He had a damn good rookie year. Took a team that had won 4 games the previous 3 seasons and went 6-7 (also set the rookie TD passing mark)

His second year was bad. But I put that more on Freddie Kitchens. He had no business being a HC.

Everything seemed to be coming together in his third year. Decent numbers. 11 wins and a road playoff win.

Then reality for Browns fans set back in last season. He was too banged up and shouldn't have been playing. Not sure if he was too stubborn to admit how dinged up he was or that Stepanski had little to no faith in the back up. Doesn't matter now though obviously.

I'm personally glad he's gone. Never been a fan of his.

And you mentioned the organization. There's a reason why I've said multiple times since their return in '99 no team does organizational dysfunction like the Browns.

Where is Wilson mentioned in that comment of mine?

Never said you mentioned him, I was just using your numbers ( BM 235 YPPG ) as a measuring stick and Wilsons numbers to compare. BM has not really been all that Bad, he just has not had a lot of help. The Browns really are making him the scapegoat.

The Browns aren't making him the scapegoat. Watson's a total scumbag. But from a player comparison he's a helluva an upgrade from BM.

How can you say he had no help when last season the Browns were 4th in league in rushing yards and in '20 they were 3rd?

He hasn't been all that bad? Okay there is a little truth to that. But on the flip side he hasn't been that good either. Look where his career completion percentage (61.6) ranks amount QB's the last four years. And his TD to int. ratio (92/56) is nothing special.

lets ignore the fact that the browns are one of the worst teams in the league since 2018 for dropping passes. Am I right? The were #1 in that area in 2018. #1 meaning the worst.

They might be interested but they sure as hell wont "trade" for him.

I am Ok if they bring Mayfield in, just look at his numbers compared to Drew Locks numbers. There is no comparison as Mayfield is much better than Drew lock in every area. Just DO NOT TRADE ANYTHING FOR HIM! PERIOD!

I have never felt the Browns were committed to Mayfield and always got the Drew Brees San Diego chargers feeling from them. The Chargers drafted Brees but then they just never bought in to having him as their QB.

I’d say yes for the right price… if Mayfield is healthy he’s better than the 2 QB’s we have now… But for God sake don’t give up any top picks for him, Browns have zero leverage …

In this total rebuild that we are going through I'd be more than happy with Mayfield as the starter and Lock as the back up. Nothing wrong with that scenario as long as Mayfield doesn't expect the moon for a contract.

We'll shit... This certainly feels like substantial evidence if true.

Baker ain't getting #6 per Diggs.

Yeah, weird though, since if it's true, someone had to have had the authority to make the listing in the first place. Could have been a rough draft that mistakenly got submitted, but the question is what stage are they at behind the scenes?
