He officially got permission from the Heat to shoot 3's. Been in the gym doing that all summer and the team is allowing him to shoot 3's in camp now as well.....let's see how that goes

Doesn't change his inability to defend on the perimeter or switch defensively. That's the bigger issue.

I get that. I think things went sideways on KAT's and Wiggins' (and Dieng's for that matter) development, when Flip died.... In all honesty, I'd have rather they built something organically. They were finally cap healthy, when that happened, and I feel like the last 2 years were wasted on the kids.... but how to you have a contingency for the passing of a 60 year old coach?

I wasn't excited for Thibs' hire.
I wasn't excited for Butler being brought in.
I was not in favor of Teague coming.

They got butler cheap enough, but I’m still trying to figure out how they take Patton over OG, a guy who was born to play for thibs.

yeah, I don't recall the timing of everything from that night, and when the deal was consumated, but they already had Wiggins, soooo.... OG probably wouldn't have madde sense at the time.
