If Miami only trade 2 players and get Butler back in return, I think they're a 2nd round team with an outside chance of ECF depending on injuries and etc from the obvious top 3.

Nah. I wouldn't put them close to 10 but I'm a homer. Last year they had a whole lot of shit go wrong and still ended up with 44 wins. This year is no different IMO. I think they get a better version of Hassan and JJ. Waiters should be back healthy with no ankle issues. I say they're a 44-47 win team with the roster as is

if Hassan is back to basically being a top 40ish player like he was heading into last year, the Heat are gonna be a major pain in the @ss. Especially with Butler.

What points to that though? If they had received anything resembling a decent offer he would've been dealt already. The style of play in the current NBA didn't change this summer; he still isn't a good fit as a modern NBA center.

He officially got permission from the Heat to shoot 3's. Been in the gym doing that all summer and the team is allowing him to shoot 3's in camp now as well.....let's see how that goes

He had some injuries last year.

He was a monster in 2016 when healthy. Same game they're playing now.
