I liked Emmitt but Barry Sanders was a superior RB. Most rational folks would agree with me.
Emmitt was better than Barry and it isn't even close to me. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Cowboy fan either. Emmitt could literally do everything and was a 3 down and goal line back. Like PDay said, Barry was great(I think the best ever) when the ball was in his hands, but the RB position is more than that.

I'm an avid Cowboys fan and Barry Sanders was a better RB than Emmitt. Sanders played on a crappy team with a poor OL while Emmitt ran behind a great OL.

He wasn't better. And frankly this is just a recycled Barry Sanders argument. Emmitt had better hands, was a better blocker, a more downhill and tougher runner and came up big when it mattered most. Barry was great at making people miss and was a great HR hitter. But the game is more than big plays.

Asked if Prescott would remain the starter against the Eagles even if Romo was ready, Jones only said, ''I wouldn't say unequivocally anything other than we just beat the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay.''

Oh that Jerry. He's never had an opinion he can't change within a day or so...

Just not sure how you take him out right now. He wasn't great today either, but damn they play well with what they are doing.

"I'm an avid Cowboys fan"

so?
the topic was best runningback, not runner.
Yes the topic is running back and Sanders was better than Smith. Most experts would agree with me.

I'll take 3 TD passes any day. What do you consider great?

I'm just tired of this. The reporters trying to ask defensive players now their thoughts? Let's see if Romo gets healthy and let's see if Dak is still playing well and not injured when/if he does. These things have a way of working themselves out. Right now it is just a distraction from 5-1 IMO. I take things game to game and would be surprised if Romo 100% against Philly anyway, so it's at least a week beyond that for me to waste time on...

I hope they keep Prescott as the starter.

Yes Butler should have had the one. Not sure why he dove. I think he could have ran right through it

Me too. I didn't say I didn't like the stats. Matter of fact I'm hoping his stats surpass Tony's and then want to see Star come on here and tell us stats don't mean anything:thumb:
