There is the 5 star player we been waiting for. He played a great game and showed why he was a top player coming out of high school. It was great to watch this kid play yesterday. Lets hope he continues to grow as a player. We lost Grace last night so someone needs to step in and step up.

Only negative: MLB are so slow and was shocked ASU didnt try and throw in the middle of the field more. I dont understand how we have no speed at this position. Do we have any Freshman that can play MLB?

We didn't have much speed at MLB with Te'o either.

But Jaylon did look good, and he made a couple key plays both forcing ASU to settle for 3. Sometimes it takes a little time to adjust to the college game, maybe this is just the tip of the ice berg for him.

The thing about Fox and Calobrese is they cover well, maybe not the fastest guys but they know how to cover. Smith looked great yesterday now they need to put Redfield in because Farley isn't impressing me much.

Teo never had one interception until his senior year if I am not mistaken.

It wasn't that he knew how to cover, it was that he knew best where to position himself and he read plays with great skill. That covered up his lack of top speed. Just look at his 40-time. And I'm not taking anything away from Te'o, but he lacks that top speed.

Fox is so-so in pass coverage. Calabrese? Shatty! Dude can hit hard and tackle but his coverage skills are shit.

Am I the only one not sold on him? No doubt he had a very good game against ASU. But the other games it just seemed like he was making tackles 10 yards down the field after teams had a first down. I guess someone has to do it, but it doesn't really make you a special player.

He will be eventually, but up until Saturday he's felt like a liability IMO.

I'm not sold either. But we can't forget he's only a Freshman.

But I agree, wasn't until last night that he made an impact.

Yes he is only a Freshman.

Yes Te'o knew where to be, but overall did a good job in covering and he has good sideline to sideline speed.

He finally came out played aggressive football. The D change in this game. D backs played up tight and check. I think this made QB have to look more than normal given or D line a chance to put pressure. I rather get burn playing aggressive style football than waiting for the play to come to you. Russell I thought finally played aggressive.

Atikson on the other hand look like he took step back. You have to run up the middle. I like to see Carlyle play more and Folston.

I like Folston. Kid reminds me of Theo but maybe a little better.

Farley has been a complete waste of space! RB's/WRs/TEs prolly just laugh when he attempts to make a tackle on them. He has been pretty much a joke in the open field ... he, basically, stinks.

That's why I want to see Redfield, sure Farley will get a pick once in a while but he makes too many mistakes most of the game.

Both Farley and Collinsworth suck and should be special teams players. I don't put all the blame on them though. They were recruited as offensive players and I feel they are not put in the best positions for them to succeed. I assume they are back there because they are better than what we have and is the only chance they will ever have playing time. No chance in hell Farley would ever run the ball and Collinsworth play receiver. I'm thinking at this point Max will get redshirted.
