It strikes me - semi-pun intended - perhaps part of the reason our announcing staff is so poor is due to the fact our top three are all former players.

Maybe, nothing at all. But most teams I've seen/listened too, have "professionals" taking the helm. Former players, usually have a color position, or somewhat.

He hates Daniels, (and I think that just fell apart in the last two years) it's not about his former teammates or the fans. In fact, his ex teammates all seem happy to see him, and he them.

2010 was in there, that crappy MVP year....and he was cheap for what he brought. I don't care if his eyes bled during the day. 2011 they wouldn't stop hounding him about his sports hernia, when you're a name they hound you when you don't hit. Hamilton never had the sense to keep his mouth shut.
