Grumpy Cat
Agree but that was within arms length. He kind of acted spastic on it for some reason.
With this terrible feed I can barely tell what is going on, its SOOOOOOO pixelated

It's more noticeable this year.
Martin has looked like garbage tonight.
But speaking of 3rd base; we've had the privilege of watching 3 really wonderfully gifted 3rd baseman in the past. Buddy Bell was fantastic from 79-84. Followed by Steve Buechele from 85-91, and of course the best of em, Adrian Beltre, from 2011.
That's some fantastic gloves there IMO.
Perhaps b/c he's had the quad injury from the get go
But it doesn't change the fact that it was apparent last year too and people chose to ignore it
Dean Palmer wasn't too bad either but Buddy Bell was about all there was to root for many years. Too bad he did not have a good team around him. He was a very good player.
And Rios leads the league in DP's individually...Glad we can lead the majors in something-DPs. Edit-I forgot, we also lead in DL assignments.
Wonder where this puts the FO thinking on Joe Saunders?
Baker pitched fine, for the position he was put in. But, it wasn't great.
Glad I'm not the only one that's seen it
Had the argument with several people about who was a better defender last year Beltre or Machado, and I was chastised for not saying Beltre
Thats why sometimes numbers are your friend, sometimes the eye test fails some people, they saw what they wanted to see, not what was actually there
Agree - he deserves another chance... I'm desperate for him to do well, I cannot stand having to rely on Saunders...I really hate it when we do stuff like this to a pitcher. I would have liked to see how he would have done sliding right in there like they did with Nick. Plus he was facing the Tigers.
