Foster is lightest so that maybe the way to go. We'll see.

Pat Shurmur:

Daniel Jones (rookie): 12 games, 3000+ yards, 24 touchdowns, 12 interceptions.

Case Keenum: 3,500 yards, 22 touchdowns, 7 interceptions. NFC championship appearance.

Wouldn’t mind making that hire. It goes deeper than QB numbers but I like what I see.

Anyone watch the Buffalo vs. Texans game? I missed the part where Houston came back. Buffalo's defense is a lot like what I expect the Redskins defense to be. You saw them blitz fair amount early with a great deal of success. I thought one play near the end cost them the game. Houston had 3rd and 18, Buffalo showed they might blitz but then the LBers flew out into a zone. Correct defense but the backers dropped past the 1st down line … too deep. Of course the DBs were ten yards further than that. The depth of the drop allowed Watson to hit a receiver about 3 yards short of the 1st down so by the time the zone rallied up the receiver made the 1st down. LBers should have dropped to about 15 yards. I think the it was the right call but executed poorly. It was fun to watch since it was similar to what we will be seeing.

I guess the real question is what will some team be willing to give up to get Tua, if he comes out? Could we get RG3 compensation? Very similar profiles.

No doubt. All we gotta do is get those idiot Redskins on the phone......oh wait!

Haskins has to start over. At least the speed of the game won't be new to him.

Not worried about him starting a new system . I figured he would before last season as is why I just wanted him to get familiar with NFL defenses and running the team .

Unless he doesn't.

If Turner tailors his game planning at least initially to the things that Haskins already does well, there should be minimal bumps in the road (though those are inevitable).

I am sorry to see KOC go, but on the other hand, if the redskins are put their faith in the head coach to run the whole show, then they might as well let him "buy the ingredients" (to butcher an oft-cited Bill Parcells quote).

On one hand it appeared that KOC was gone eventually, so might as well rip the band aid off now. My concern is the verbiage. He just seemed a lot more comfortable toward the end. The delay of games were decreasing and he was making his reads quicker. Time will tell.
