And the broncos were stupid for letting Osweiler walk.
Both parties screwed up. He should of stayed in Denver. Should of took less money and Denver good really use him. He was good in that system. Houston was desperate and made a BIG mistake.

The biggest weakness I have seen in Osweiler is his inability to adjust to adjustments.

There has been a few games where he just starts off on fire. 8-of-10 or something like that.

Then finishes like 13-of-24 or something like that.

What the fuck happened?

Well, what happens is defenses make adjustments.

Then he can't adjust to those adjustments and goes to shit the rest of the game.

Osweiler is very overrated.

I think Osweiler would have tanked in Denver tbh. I don't think the time he played there was a good sample size.

U might be right but he would have a better time to succeed at Denver just because he knows the system and the players. Some QBs will tell you its not easy to learn a new playbook and offense. His chances were better with Denver, Denver would be better with him then what they have now.

Denver is better without him.

You know it's bad for Osweiler when the comeback to this is "The Broncos still offered a decent chunk themselves."

They did, but their options were somewhat limited. I really don't think they were happy with losing both 1st and 2nd QB. Especially when they still have the majority of their team back.

He was okay in the system. His stats while filling in for Manning were mediocre. It appears that he was closer to his ceiling rather than going through some growing pains while getting better.

And what makes it more ironic is Kubiac wins the bloody Superbowl his first year back as a head coach.

I think Houston fans knew Kubiak was good, the team just needed a change after years of not getting over the hump. It was similar to Andy Reid in Philly.

Most sane fans on this board thought the walk was fine and the money Houston threw at him was completely stupid. It's borderline Flacco.

Stop trying sarcasm.

Lone bright spot is he has some serious zip when throwing but just a tad inaccurate. Kind of impressed he was able to throw one pass out of the stadium.

On a side note: I kind of feel hypocritical with all the Peyton Manning Forehead jokes I made considering the dome on Schaub's head.

JFC, you could land a 747 on Schaub's forehead.

ahh...the ol' 9head

It's bad enough that the Texans will make a trade with Dallas for Romo this offseason.

The Houston Fan Meltdown over that would be pure fucking comedy gold.

But can the Texans take on Romo's contract along with the one they gave Osweiler?

I think that will prevent it from happening.

That's actually true. He has a cap hit of 19M I think, but the Texans have 13M of cap space next year before they do anything else. If they really wanted him, they could find room for a year of him.
