Right now you are right. But Lebron is 28 man. Let's say he plays another 10 years. What if he does come back with 4 more titles? what if he gets 3-4 more MVPs?
Lebron could end up with 6 titles, 7-8 MVPs, the all time scoring leader.. a top 10 possibly even top 5 in assists all time. What then?
MJ vs Lebron debate isnt over.. Lebron's career resume isnt over. Jordan's is. Jordan is the greatest Ive seen play. But Lebron could get there. at the age of 28, he is AHEAD of Jordan.. and I dont think he is going to retire to go play baseball.
If you notice the rants always coincide with something good happening for Lebron or something bad happening for Kobe. Really just think about it. Kobe just made sure Howard doesnt sign with LA so Sman's anxiety level probably just went through the roof. He knows that Kobe will not be able to get another ring on the back of the best big man in basketball. That frightens him because he knows no one is impressed with Kobe because he was gifted all of his rings. The funniest part of the rant is in the opening when sman says LeBron isn't in the same league as Kobe.
Kobe's an afterthought at this point. As James continues to play he'll doing nothing but further the distance between the 2.
James has been considered the best player in the league for quite awhile and at no point has Kobe ever been considered the best in the NBA. Best scorer maybe, but never best all around player.
Sman knows this and has givin' up the LeBron vs. Kobe debate. He's now onto bigger and better things, Lebron vs. MJ
Gotta disagree with Lebron being overrated!! Not because that isn't necessarily the case, but because he has many more years left to fill out his resume!!
In Lebron's defense (just threw up a little in my mouth typing that) he did drag a Cleveland team that really had no business getting past the 2nd round of the playoffs to the finals. Jordan wasn't able to do that when his Bulls teams had similar talent around him.
If Lebron's career were to end today and people wanted to include him in the GOAT discussion, then I agree that would make him overrated. However, he has many years left to put himself squarely in the discussion or to remove himself from it depending on how it plays out!!
Any discussion of Lebron as GOAT should merely be as a possibility, not as a fact at this point!!
Dammit Hammer!! See what you did?!? You made me defend Lebron!!!
JERK!!
Let's seeOf course none of it is true Trojan:
2 bronze medals
Swept in Finals
Shot 34 pct in finals sweep
Shot 35 pct Against Boston in 2008 playoffs
Losing to inferior teams (bost & Orlando) despite winning 60 plus games twice and having home court advantage.
Choking to Dallas....
Choking game 6 of finals only to be saved by Ray Allen
Shooting under 50 pct in every finals...
Shot 10 pct below his season average in this years finals....
It's all garbage..LOL..All made up....LOL
Keep believing the propoganda. He's Jordan...LOL
How did he choke in G6 of the finals this year? He played amazing in that 4th to bring the Heat back. Without his incredible 4th, The spurs would of ran away with that game as they actually had a 10 point lead entering the 4th
Or maybe it had to do with his MASSIVE gambling problem which was widely known and there was some behind the scenes that is NOT widely known?? Some use your theory, but others don't buy it.Nah. Lebron would have to do all of the things MJ has done and more. 3 straight rings, twice? I don't think so. And MJ could have put up more stats but he retired because he had already proven that whichever team has him wins the title and there was nothing more for him to prove.
When MJ was playing everybody knew MJ was going to win every title every year. The same can't be said about Lebron. Not hardly. MJ was DOMINANT. Lebron isn't anywhere near the player MJ was. No one is.

Bk, they had a 10 point lead going into the 4th qtr because Lebron was 2-13 going into the 4th qtr...Then with 1 minute left in the game, Lebron shot 2 airballs, 2 turnovers, and was bailed out by Ray Allen and mis ft's by S.A...Without being SAVED by Ray Allen, Lebron goes down as a choker again and is 1-3 in the finals..
I agree, but to say that was Kobe for 10yrs.That's because Kobe has 5 rings, and lebron has 1 Asterisk, and 1 Bailout by Ray Allen...That 5 legit rings to 0...
And Kobe has never been the best player in the league? OK...I guess you didn't watch basketball from 2002 till 2010....Even Shaq back in 2001 started saying Kobe was the best player in the league...
Let's just say if you're the best player in basketball on offense and defense, you're the best player in the league. That's Kobe from 2001 till 2010 Asswipe....
Jordan was asked by the press about missing 26 game winning shots? As it turns out, it was a fictiional stat by Gatorade....
Nice try...LOL
