Sorry, I guess that hit by Ulf was all class. the hit by Cooke on Savard that ended his career was classy too. Yup, Pitt reeks of class. By the way, I don't post here for anyone's approval.

Why don't you put your Sabres and Flyers logos back up? I thought you gave up on the Bruins? LOL

If I was douchey I would wish CAREER ending injuries, like what Pitt did to 2 of Bostons star players, one a HOF player. All I wished for was for them to be out of the playoffs. Or are you suggesting I praise a player who admitted he'd do anything to win which included injuring players?

What the fuck are you talking about??

The list of injuries, many ending seasons and even careers, given to other players by the likes of Ulf and Cooke is a long list and it wasn't until Sid got hit that Matio spoke out against said hits. Never heard him say all those Ulf hits were dirty or the one by Cooke under his ownership of the team so fuck the Pens.

Now what do things Mario Lemieux may, or may not, have done in the past have to do with wishing an injury upon Jarome Iginla?

Was someone giving the impression that Pittsburgh fans were happy about what Cooke and Ulf did? I can't think of any Penguins fan that I've spoken with condoning it. It's not like there are people in Pittsburgh pointing and laughing at those incidents. I think we're on the same side about that.

I don't like Iginla going to the Pens anymore than Beantown does. I cannot feel good for a franchise whose fans had all but abandoned them before Crosby and Malkin showed up with a big bow on them...but if anyone deserves to see success its Jarome

Well Ken Linseman, one of the dirtiest players evaaaahhhh, played for the Bruins. Therefore I'm just gonna hope that Patrice Bergeron, one of the classiest players in the league, severs a limb in while riding Tuukka Rask's tattered corpse down an erupting Volcano.

Only for the playoffs though. Pffft. I'm not like petty or anything.

I for one, have had enough of the nice guys that need a championship storyline (Ray Bourque), so you're not getting any love from me Iggy.

I fart in your general direction.

I would have been pulling for him on just about any other team, Dash, but I just can't wish for the Penguins to win the Cup. :2cents:

Yeah, I understand Kenny and it's a dilemma for me as well. While I would like to see Iggy get that elusive ring, the better thing for the Flames would be to see the Pens knocked out in round 1. However, if it's a Pens - Hawks SCF, I gotta go Pittsburgh.

I love when people share their thoughts on a public message board and then claim they don't care what anyone else thinks.

Get a fucking diary, then.

Now hold on there. I will admit to a large influx of "new fans" after Crosby and Malkin came to town, but a lot of the hockey fans in Pittsburgh at the time may have simply been too disgusted by the "hockey" being played by teams led in scoring by the likes of Dick Tarnstrom and led by "star" players like Rico Fata.

Rico Fata... :tsk:

(And in case you were concerned, I'm not actually mad. I just wanted an excuse to make fun of Rico Fata again.

...as if I need one.)

Why is it when a Penguins player comes back from injury or a new player comes in they seem to play the Islanders?:L

:plotting:

Rico Fata - Originally drafted by the (you guessed it) Calgary Flames.
