If you had to pick a new HC

Careful what you wish for. McDaniels' name being mentioned in Denver still brings about cuss filled conversations. His name is hardly even allowed to be spoken and that was what 4-5 years ago. The guy is a pretty good OC but HC man was he terrible. Maybe he has learned from his mistakes but by the time he left Denver he had burned pretty much every bridge with every player and FO person on the team. They couldn't run him out of town fast enough.

Most people aren't good at their first go around in their position. And I could care less what went on in Denver.

Some guys are best suited for coordinators...I look at McDaniels as a good OC...maybe he would turn it around in his second stint...but anybody that thought Tebow was a 1st round talent you have to look at as iffy.

For me...Bruce Arians...great OFC mind that now understands the value of a good running game...smart enough to hire a good DC and leave them alone.

He's actually better than you think, he has a strong say in the picks the Pats make each year. Even in that category I'm sure he will improve. We all did from where we were when we were younger.

One thing that is different with McDaniels compared to Weiss and Crennell, is he is a kid by comparison and almost fully under BB's wing.
