no Coordinators from other colleges, none. okay, I'll make an exception for Smart from bama and only if he brings Kiffin as the OC.

It's gotta be someone with HC experience and not 1 or 2 years, but someone that has clearly shown he has connections across the country and through both NFL and NCAA teams so he can bring in good assistants.

I'd also take someone from the NFL if it's the right guy, but I quite frankly don't know NFL Coordinators that well. Penn State made a great hire in O'brien, I'd want someone like that.

Holy hell if Lane Kiffin ended up being any part of this program I would quickly wilt away and die within 1 season.

Pep Hamilton OC for the Colts. He has both background in college and the NFL. He's coached under Jim Harbaugh and David Shaw. He would be one of the NFL types I would look at for a HC at the college level.

If for some weird ass reason we ended up with Frost, I would support it and roll with it.

But we better not end up going right back down that path. It's the same path that we're on right now. Testing out a big name Coordinator who had ties with Nebraska at one point.

Bo knows X's and O's.

He just doesn't know Business. Or Management.

Every Husker fan knows it was Wyoming

Craig Bohl hates Nebraska because of the way he was treated and then FIRED.

I do not want Craig Bohl. He is a good, maybe a great coach, but he and Nebraska are not a good fit because of the past.

No thanks to any more NFL coaches or any coach with an NFL "it's only one game" mentality. Gary Patterson would be a good coach, or even Tressel, but Tressel is in his early 60s.

This is my choice. I know he is getting up there, but 5 years to get the program back into regular top 10 appearances and then someone else can continue the rise when he retires. plus, all his sweaters are already red.

Tressel has all the hookups and the know-hows. I don't give one fuck about that "scandal" or whatever anyone wants to call it.

If we hired Tressel, we would suddenly be a hit in College Football. Everyone would have their eyes on Nebraska to see what would happen next, including recruits.

Tom Osborne was almost 60 years old when he finally put all the pieces together.

Seems about the right age.

Tressel may be good for ten years or so. I am so sick of Mad Dog and his bullshit.

Yeah, 10 years would not be out of the question.

I have no issue with the "mad dog" persona. I just thing the kids have stopped playing for him and/or his staff. When that happens, it is time for change.

I doubt Tressel wants anything to do with the Nebraska job.
