OMGZ will we have a shot at a high lottery pick ? lol ...

ok maybe this team isn't that bad but that doesn't mean we needed Lou to sell this terrible team to the fans for the past many years now ...

no offensive d-men equals super fail .... I said years ago rebuild if you had no shot at fixing the blue line to where it could contribute offensively

Lou we don't like pretenders in NJ

I wasn't able to watch tonight's game, but I assume the biggest problem was the defense failing defensively.

If Marty will not improve soon, he will be put as backup goalie and possibly start thinking to retire. I did not think that he would start season so badly.

Unfortunately for Marty, when you are 38 years old and you have a bad start to a season, the questions start to pile up. The fact is, at some point the road ends. I'm not saying this is it, but at his age the suspicions carry more weight.

He's set a ton of records that prolly wont be broken for a long time. If he tanks this season, which is likely not to happen, just off to a bad start, I'd say retirement is in the near future.

I have to agree that Marty has looked alot slower on shots this season, but I am not ready to give up on him just yet... the D in front has got to do a better job... of course if we could score, that also helps... we will see what tom. will bring... time off, rest and practice, lets see what they come up with against the habs...

Makes you wonder if it has something to do with the injury a few years back.it was on his glove side.maybe psychological or physical after effects

His glove was fine last year. We'll see what happens. He's probably just a bit rusty. It has to be tough not playing for 4 months then playing what 2? games in pre-season, then starting out against some of these teams that are all on hot streaks and shelled us.

Well, we all know how much Marty loves his shutouts... theres another one... they played real solid tonight... no problems at all and a good win. I like seeing the line switchups.... esp the elias line...

Defense helped him a lot. But anyway he had a few good saves. I still think that he has to play less games than last year, as he becomes heavier on his moves and gets tired faster. With all the respect to him we have to admit that there is always such point of time with these unavoidable steps.
