and when is someone going to suggest said coach?

Hoke is going to be out at Michigan soon, nope.
Franklin just went to Penn State, not really sure he's that good of a coach
We aren't drawing away anyone from good schools: Saban, Miles, Stoops, etc.

Someone tell me who they think can turn this around.

If you were to take a national thread, about who the biggest douchebag coaches are in the NCAA, I think it would be a very close call between:

bobo peenie, and
lame kitten

Yeah, if I were you guys - I would want that assclown gone too. I hate Nebraska (obviously and ditto I'm sure). But you guys are too good of a program to have that dude running your show.

which HC would you rather have in Lincoln?

Honestly I would like to grab David Shaw from Stanford but that won't happen. Shit i'd go for your ole ball coach Tressel. There is really no need to look for a replacement coach at this point in time though because Eichorst is too much of a pussy to pull the trigger. Once Bo stops getting incredibly lucky with some last second/play bullshit miracle wins then we can start looking at potential coaches. We were a few plays last year from being 5-7!!!!!!! Many people do not realize this!!!!!!

The Nebraska fans who want Pelini fired for on-field performance are living in the ’90s. Winning takes time, patience, more than six years. Osborne didn’t win an outright conference championship until his ninth season. He shared a conference title in his third season – but so did Pelini. In 2010, Nebraska finished the season tied for the Big 12’s best record, a feat that would have earned a league title in pre-conference championship game days.
At the end of the day, Pelini has a winning percentage of .704 in nearly six seasons. In his first five years, he had a winning percentage of .706. Better than Nick Saban. Better than Bear Bryant. Better than Lou Holtz, Bobby Bowden, Bo Schembechler, Jimmy Johnson, Frank Beamer, Steve Spurrier, Les Miles, Pop Warner, Amos Alonzo Stagg and, oh, by the way, Bob Devaney.

The point isn't who should come in. The point is, do we currently have the right man for the job. Hiring coaches is a crapshoot. Some coaches fit places and some don't. Some can make the jump to head coach and some can't. There isn't a shallow pool of coaches that will be or already are successful. When you need to hire a new coach you go out and hire the best guy you think is right for the job. The scary thing for Nebraska is that the guy in charge of hiring coaches has only hired 1 head coach of any sport in his entire AD career.

What really sucks is my optimism bubble as short lived as it was, will no longer be needed. I don't think anyone can disagree with me, but I'm pretty sure there will be quite a few opponents the rest of the season that will be much much much better than McNeese State.

Oh sorry...thought this was another fire hoke thread...

Thanks to a Hail Mary against Northwestern, Pelini was 2:00 and one Ameer Abdullah play away from being (4-4)(8-5) along with Hoke last season.

Bo literally had a 2:00 mental lead.

There's not that many actually. The only one I can be sure of is JJM's from last year.
