Since this is here... Somebody on the Packers board made a post in the style of BerksireBull. I don't know if any of you remember that guy, but he was embarrassing to any Wisconsin sports fan.

What I mean by in Berk's style, he posted "is it time to end the MLF and Love experiment", which was his specialty on the team boards like the Packers or Brewers.

A little story about him, on the mens college hoops board in the summer of 07 he would come on and post about things his girlfriend would put in his butt. It was both horrifying and hilarious at the same time. What a man does in the privacy of his bedroom is his private info, until you share it on a national sports message board, and he posted some ridiculous stuff.

Only thing is Berk would spell names incorrectly ("Jonathan LaCroix") and call divisions the wrong name (i.e. the Brewers played in the "NL North")

That is where a lot of my hatred of Vikings fans came from...moss88884444, cockney and there were other total tards that trolled the hell out of the Packers board...I hated those idiots. It's one thing to rib in good fun and humor, it's another thing all together to be total donkeys

How do you guys remember all of this? I was on espn for a few years before here and I don't even remember what my screen name there was.

I can't remember my own screen name from the espn forum, either. Whatever it was, it was too generic for me to remember over a decade after they shut the place down. But stories like the **** star chick who visited the place to advertise what she was up to, or the years long troll who fooled the Vikings subforum there into thinking some cam chick's pic was actually a real woman posting - those are things one doesn't easily forget.

The Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady arguements that went on there were hilarious, too. The lengths people would go to troll and argue about that there in the 2000's was off the charts.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall this sn on the Big 10 board there as a Sparty fan...again, I could be mistaken

Ok.. I guess I used this one then, because that would be me. :noidea: I know I had another at some point over there too, though.

I'm pretty sure anybody that posted much had more than 1. When the ban hammer came along it was all over.

Those were some good times for sure...

There was another troll on the Bengals board - Browns guy - SolomonKnows - wonder whatever happened to that dude...lol

There were also a few Bengals fans that made the early move to Hoop, but then kind of faded off - never/rarely to be heard from again. In fact, I think one guy actually ended up with a girl that was a Steelers Fan, so pretty sure he was neutered....lol

Another guy was going through a pretty rough stretch in life, ended up divorced and moved - and I don't think he ever returned to the late days of ESPN or the hoop...

Makes you wonder how some of these guys are doing...those were good times. The fast and lawless days of the internet...

The ESPN Viking board had a lot of traffic.

You guys had that… nice.

Fan Nation had Tonetta. He was entertaining if nothing else.

I was also on Fan Nation. It was too tightly controlled. Remember Mangler? He's the one that brought me over here.

The Hoop is a better place to be. I miss Hell Awaits from the old place, though, and a few others.
