You are right the s&C is still a big question mark but look at the guy. Common sense tells you that his passion is going to spill over onto the players. And look at USC's line compared to ours. We looked like anemic little boys up against them. I know it wasn't his program but he was in it.

As for the other coaches the experience is huge and right now they are killing it out on the road. That in and of itself is huge.

I know, no guarantees but I see a bright future if you're N.

My thought on this is this guy is more than s&c, he is the sole motivational source for a good part of the year. He is the one that keeps these guys on task.

Some one who the players relate to and look up to is going to be big. I'd rather have a s&c coach who acts liek a kid than a head coach, i.e. cat and tantrums.

There is a whole science that goes into strength and conditioning. You really gotta know your shit. Can't just get guys pumped to lift more weight, it's about doing it the right way for each position. Different positions obviously need different types of conditioning.

I think it's moving more in the direction of the S&C guy getting the players through the workouts, while the actual workouts are developed by the doctors and scientists. That's what NAPL is all about, and I think we will start seeing the impact of it. It's like the S&C revolution started by Epley back in the day, and again, it's starting at Nebraska.
