My wife is 64 and without a wrinkle or gray hair.....
My wife is 71 and her hair is silver and white.

I married her at 20 and she was a 'B'

50 years later she's a 'D'

Too bad I didn't grow two sizes bigger.

Extra size for each are useless if you focus on doing everything else right.

Never once has she complained since 1974.

She's a princess for having to put up with all of my problems and sticking with me.

Hmmm, I thought we somehow got onto a breakfood topics.

Hey now… this topic is about the “Hunt for a new coach”. Don’t even think twice about changing the subject Mr!

Now if you were to say… I hear the coaches prefer tatertots over fries…. That’s acceptable. Try not to veer to far off course please.

Yup. Black Monday for the scouting department is the Monday following the draft. It isn't as fast and furious as what we see with HC's and GM's since there is a bigger pool of guys to pick from and there are not as many changes even when the coaching staff is changed. A lot of times the scouting department will be kept especially for new head coaches as easier to get the head coach to learn how to communicate with the staff what he likes compared to having a brand new coach then also have to work with a brand new scouting department.

Makes sense. Broncos got poached all offseason from their scouting department after all the recent success drafting and FA. Hoping the real magic is Payton and Paton working together so that we don't see this giant drop off. I remember last time this happened was after the first couple of years under Elway when he became GM. Things were looking great then about 4 of our guys got promotions on other teams and it quickly became apparent they were a huge reason for all the success.

The Patriots have not drafted that well over the past ten years. Belichick and Mayo have taken the blame from fans and media. No one knows who actually makes the final decision, but one would have to believe that the HC will turn on a GM if he wants someone and gets overstepped.

Meeting with owner after the season......."I told that som'bitch I wanted PlayerX and he over ruled me and took douchebagY. You let him draft again and you can find a new HC when my contract is up in 2039.."

Well the dream scenario is that HC, GM, and Ownership are all a part of the decision. The hope would be ownership would trust his HC and GM with the football decisions knowing they know a little more about the game than whoever ownership is. I would say the only time ownership should get a little involved is when a Quarterback is getting picked. I would tell the HC and GM if they are not in agreement on the prospect then you do not take them because especially if it is a 1st round pick that is such a huge investment.

Yes we do see Coaches and GM's throw each other under the bus when things fall apart. We see the character of people come out in those moments.
