Deion Sanders, who received inquiries last month from the Cowboys for their head coaching vacancy, said he has no interest in coaching in the NFL.

Cowboys hire K-State OC Conor Riley as their new OL coach. This is another outstanding hire IMO. He worked with Deuce Vaughn and Cooper Beebe, they always had a diverse running scheme that was able to produce big numbers on the ground against teams with more athletic kids. I have to say I'm impressed with the staff Schotty is putting together. He wants to run the football and he brought in an OC and OL coach with great run game resumes. Jerry need to get him another stater in the OL and a solid back or two and give him a fair chance

Everything I read says this is a good hire and a young "rising star" type coach. I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about the K State OL coaches coaching ability myself. I thought it was a good sign that he was promoted to OC and asked to call plays last year. I'm pretty happy overall with the coaching choices as long as they don't listen to Jerry

I like the assistants that Shotty has brought in.

Will be interesting to see what moves they make in FA.

I am not sure the team is that bad on the OL as some may think. That big guard that went on IR should be back. Bass and Hoffman were decent at RG so if they move on from Martin it won't be horrible. Beebe should only get better. Smith at LG is a stud. The OT position is a problem, but they could change the scheme to "mask" that if necessary. Maybe Guyton can be coached up. If not Richards is waiting in the wings As much as I wanted Steele gone it may be smart to keep him.

The real problem on offense is RB and WR. I ain't all in on Dowdle. The receivers after Lamb are not good.

Tolbert supposedly turning all these heads in mini camp is all I heard before last season. This guy is not a reliable #2.

Every season they talk up these UDFA receivers in training camp and every year they suck.

Junior Adams coached some awesome college receivers at Oregon. I've read a bunch of NFL staffs woulda loved to of added Adams.

Another really nice hire. Schotty is doing a heck of a job putting together a staff after starting late in the game. So far so good

I really can't claim to know much about these guys but am happy to see what they have done with the staff. My biggest worry was status quo after years of the same old disappointment which was highlighted by trying to bring back McCarthy and then immediately promoting his #2 to HC. Clearly it stopped there and hopefully all of these guys bring both a change in culture and philosophy...and of course hopefully accountability and prioritize winning football games over all of the other BS that has defined football in Dallas for far too long
