He's a smart guy and a good coach. But this roster needs a lot of work before any coach could be expected to make the playoffs with it

We are already behind the 8 ball on the injuries. Overshown is likely out for the season already and Diggs probably won't be back till the start of the season...if...he takes his rehab seriously this time. Then there's this...we have no depth

None of those fellas are still with the team. The price tag on all of them will be higher. We have 5 other guys like Bell and Thomas that are RFA's we could lose. If we are gonna depend on the draft and UFA's again we better have one Hell of a draft

In business Jerry steps in sh*t and turns it into resale fertilizer with a 19.99 a bag price tag. I would give that man my last $10 knowing I would most likely get a $100 back in business. However the Problem is other than 5-6 years 30 plus years ago non of that has translated to the football side of the team.
Im rooting for the $19.99 bag to spread over to the football side every year.

I feel like with Jerry and Stephen, who have press conferences to tell everyone they are "Football Guys" have done a worse job than nearly any one on the Cowboys board would have done. I know if I owned the team, I would bump up Will McClay to GM and give him a 7 year deal, tell him I don't care if we won one game the next two years, just clean up this disaster. Then I would open the checkbook to bring in the best capologist available and get out of their way

Here's a thought - let's cover the field in manure to hide what really smells.
30 years and the majority of them spent wasted trying a HC not fit for the job. I'm on the side of if we win 10 games it'll be a small miracle. This HC has a long history of staying short stints, poor offensive rankings and staffs being fired or just him. His highlight was a couple years with Seattle before that also went stale and he was fired.
So him running the offense along with the team should go well for us.
