Yup. Black Monday for the scouting department is the Monday following the draft. It isn't as fast and furious as what we see with HC's and GM's since there is a bigger pool of guys to pick from and there are not as many changes even when the coaching staff is changed. A lot of times the scouting department will be kept especially for new head coaches as easier to get the head coach to learn how to communicate with the staff what he likes compared to having a brand new coach then also have to work with a brand new scouting department.

I was not a footbalĺ fan when I moved to the Boston area in the early 70s. I didn't follow sports much at all. But Boston was such a sports town. We had the Celtics, the Patriots, the Bruins and the Red Sox. I quickly learned what a real sports city was. The people of Boston were all in, 100%.

Now I'm retired in Delaware, a state with no professional teams. Our loyalties here are spread. Football people follow the Eagles, Ravens and the Redskins. When Snyder left, I decided to be a Redskins fan. We don't even see Patriots games here. I am still a Bruins fan, but the Caps are not hard to cheer for.

My guess is, I'll be pushing up daisies before the Patriots win another Superbowl.
