Difference with QBs is the larger amount of guaranteed money. Need to get through 3 years minimum to make it palatable to move on if it doesn't work out and usually 4. Taking the guaranteed money alone over 3 years puts him at almost $60M per. Over 4 it's just under $45M. That's where I'm getting my amount from IF it doesn't work out. One thing we all know is that Howie will make this difficult to figure out just by glancing at it. You are going to have to read all the ins and out to figure it out.

They aren’t hedging to move on though or protecting themselves from that possibility. They’ve never committed to a QB the way they have Hurts. If they get this wrong, the whole thing falls down.
