Both teams have elite TE receivers, felt no need to nitpick there.

Jackson's production is a result of the team around him. The Eagles have done a far better job of building a complete team. Whether or not Hurts builds on 2022 or plateaus remains to be seen.
No question on overall talent. Eagles have been building a beast, but until this last year I don't think you can definitively say the WR have been all that different. Especially year 1.

Like I said, then move on if you don't believe in him. Why hold the guy hostage? Either trade him for what you can get or pay him. I still think we see him traded during or after the draft.
They gave him what he wanted - a chance to negotiate with other teams. No one is interested because Lamar's self-worth is more than what the market is telling him he is worth.

When a guy prices himself out of his league - it's not the Ravens fault no one else is willing to meet his demands, and it's not the Ravens issue if they don't want to meet his demands.

Why doesn't Lamar just admit he's not worth what he thinks he is and accept a deal that is more market value? Why is it on the team to make it right for him, when clearly it is his own doing keeping him from being unsigned?

Again, if a team thought he was worth it, they would sign him and fork over the draft picks. It hasn't happened, and the Ravens have every right to try and get the most value out of any trade - so, no they shouldn't just 'let him go'...that's bad business.

The only one holding all of this up is Jackson and his unwillingness to admit that he is asking for too much and accept that teams do not view him the way he views himself.

Makes my day. Of course in reality I fully expect the details show it to be waaayyyyy less than this if he shits the bed or isn't worth it, which I think will happen. Can't analyze these deals until you have all of the details

You're right, Hurts' 175.6 career passing ypg is light years ahead of Lamar's 174.4 (with MUCH lesser weapons).

Oh lort. You're gonna cheat like that? Jalen started 4 games his rookie year.

LOL....I asked the same of you when Dallas lost opening week.
Their season was over at that time.

Pot meet kettle
That’s not telling the future. The Dallas Cowboys ending their season in failure is a certainty.

Or when the franchise the player plays for is 100% on board with the player and believes in them. You can’t hedge on the QB. Either he’s the guy of the future and you commit to him or you move on and look for the guy who is. Teams that hedge are the ones that get in trouble.
If hurts asked for what Lamar did he wouldn't be signed.

No.

No buts. I said but, in regards to Lamar...meaning to turn the conversation to Lamar...

Hurts future ability > Lamar. Therefore, Lamar should not get the same contract. End of story.
Lamar should get a copy of Hurts contract.
He can frame it and hang it on the wall to remind him he is a QB and not an agent.....

My edit:

I reread your original post and you said “future ability”. I read that as availability assuming you were talking about injury.

That’s my bad. I will go to the penalty box and feel shame. My apologies.

No he hasn't.

Granted he had better 2022 than Dak did, but beyond that you're argument doesn’t hold water.
Bwahahahahaha! There isn’t a GM in the league that would take Dak over Hurts.
