Give Lamar any wide receiver remotely approaching Brown and Smith and let me know how the passing game changes. Instead the Ravens pay OBJ and Agholor, who while being upgrades from last years' Ravens WR corps, are still shaky pieces in the grand scheme.
If that's all you can say about Jalen's development as passer then you haven't watched him the last two years.

You sound like PE1.

Lets see whtat 2023 and beyond bring us.

The book on both isn't closed yet.
This is music to my ears. The Cowboys will never win anything with Dak. The fact that you guys still think it’s possible is exciting.

No, I think. I don't personally expect him to be worth $51M per year. You don't have to agree with me.

I'm curious, where you would rank him in terms of QB's in the NFL? Is he the best, no I don't think so, but in a couple years when Burrow and Herbert resign, his contract will look team friendly. If he performs like he did this past year, it's a bargain, quite frankly.

He played his playoff game with a bum shoulder and no deal

How did that go for lamar

There was already bad blood in negotiations from before the season between Lamar and the Ravens. Different situation.

you're spinning again.
No I’m just relaying what’s happened over the last 20+ years.

Was I wrong?

Nope

Should you shut your whore mouth?

Yep.

Lamar would have been stupid to play a playoff game at less than 100% on his knee when he was playing on the last year of his deal. In fact, he would have to be insane.

You have obviously smoked too many bongs.
Not yet. I teach tonight. Was I wrong? Nope. How about this. I’m calling it now. The Cowboys 2023 season is effectively over on April 17th. Jerry Jones still owns the team. Dak Prescott is still the QB. You can hope Lucy doesn’t pull that football away again Charlie Brown but we all know it’s going to happen again.

Correct. If he performs like he did last year he will be only as overvalued as most other QBs are so pretty much in line with the going rate.
I don't really do rankings and think most people put too much weight on the most recent season.

Plus, I still think when the details come out (maybe they already did) this will look like a lot less than it currently does. I bet the last year or two Philly can get out with minimal cap hit and make it like a 4 year $40Mish per year type deal

And I'll call the same with the Eagles. Their season is over right now. You know, 31 out of 32 is pretty good odds and shit...

The last two years don’t even matter. Shit, that may be the case for the last 3. We know the way the Eagles conduct their business. This contract will be structured in such a way where the player is incentivized to reup and reup and reup so they can kick his cap hits down the road in perpetuity.

I would agree with that. It’s unlikely for the Super Bowl loser to get back there. But it’s not over for ME. I’m on a ridiculous streak. I’m a happy man if:
1. Eagles win the Super Bowl
2. The Dallas Cowboys don’t win a Super Bowl.
