I guess if you think eason is the answer. Look at their early season schedule.

I would take Foles as my #2. Even pay him descent #2 money. That way if Dak misses a few games we dont get derailed. right now if Dak goes down. We will pretty much suck.

No way he goes to the Colts though. Wentz' psyche wouldnt be able to handle that. be smart if the Colts would go get him, but no way that happens.

I like the part where he would talk trash about us (cowboy fans) for not signing Dak earlier, & while we paid him for cheap. Wentz & his huge contract was gone from the eagles by the time we did sign Dak. We pay Dak more now, but they are paying huge amounts for Wentz to sit on the Colts bench. Huge waste of money that just made their Salary cap disappear.

He with Wentz was like some of the skins fans with RGIII.

you are completely ignoring his play the following year. He came in after Wentz had left the team for dead. They were out of the playoffs when Foles came in and not only played them into the playoffs and into the NFCC game. In fact, he almost won that game too.

Yeah good point, had forgotten about that. But let's not pretend the disasters in Jacksonville and Chicago didn't happen. He has had a very up and down career. The truth is he had one spectacular year under Kelly, then essentially a season of great play split between '17 and '18. The remaining 7 seasons of his career he has bounced around the league and played very poorly. I just don't see a QB like that being an answer for anything.

There were many eagles fans in this thread that showed us all how dumb they were when it came to Carson Wentz. They weren’t alone. The eagles front office was at least just as stupid as they were in giving Wentz a 100 million dollar contract.

That all being said, they are all still “smarter” (or at least not as dumb) as the front office personnel of the Colts. They not only agreed to take that that ridiculous contract of the eagles books but they also sent a first round pick to the eagles to boot. The eagles absolutely fleeced the colts. Anyone who thought he would “thrive” anywhere is just plan stupid.

Wentz sucked year one. He was “great” year two but that was a SB team that won without him so … really… how “great” was he?
