I’ll say this about Wentz... he’s very humble. A lot of eagles players and coaches do a lot of chirping but not Wentz. Even when their fans are chanting “MVP” he doesn’t buy into it.
Pederson didn’t guarantee a win but he sure didn’t do his players any favors with his comment. The Cowboys looked nothing like the team that’s played the last 3 weeks. They were emotional, fired up and ready to go. The eagles were flat, got out played and out coached.

I'll say this for Wentz too.
There were over a dozen plays where he should have been sacked but he got away from the rush and on a good five or six of those plays, he completed a pass for a first down.

He’s “almost getting sacked” because he holds the ball too long. He’s not reading the defenses pre-snap and going to the “hot route”. He’s got an arm and wants to throw it deep all the time. He’s not progressing as a QB. Is he strong? Ok ... yeah... but he’s slow to react.

foles could somehow find his way back, win the last 5 games of the season to carry the eagles into the postseason and then lose the NFC championship game as the other team connects on a 65 yard field goal as time expires.. and most eagles fans would be like "remember when foles missed that receiver in triple coverage back in high school? wentz is better."
