3 bad plays after a phenomenal game. The defense lost the game but Carson could have bailed them out if he delivered... and he didn’t. I don’t get Munson saying Wentz looks different. He looks good to me. 80% completion rate and over 300 yards. The play calling at the end was abysmal. 3rd and 2 and they’re taking difficult route endzone shots??? Get the first and goal.
The D coordinator is who is doing the worst job. Got to blitz sometimes. Soft zones all game with the corners 15 yards off the ball. Jesus.
But yes... Wentz definitely didn’t deliver down the stretch after an incredible game.

You're right, I did not see that.

That’s not really what happened. The rookie TE ran the wrong route and it was almost picked off. Then Wentz tried to get the ball to Alshon and it easily could have been picked and the next play was a strip sack where he held on to the ball waaaaaay too long. The play calls were horrific. 3 attempted endzone shots and it’s 2nd and 2. Get the fucking first down.

Wentz can't cover up the many holes the FO didn't address in the off-season but he needed to make the big play and fell short. Jim Schwartz needs to be fired. That's two 4th Q game winning drives the D has allowed.

Yes - Wentz could have made some plays at the end but you could cherry pick plays with any QB

If anyone shit the bed it was Schwartz and his scheme in the 4th

If there is one thing I'm looking forward to at the end of the season is the news that Schwartz is clipped

The Eagles do need some more solid players and playmakers on defense but through 3 quarters the Eagles D did their job but then Schwartz and the D let their foot off the gas and decided to play the prevent-the-win defense and accomplished their goal of preventing the win

I'm not going to nitpick Wentz so much on this loss when the glaring reason was how the Eagles played D (or lack of D) in the 4th
