How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

There is no way Philly releases Foles if they win another SB. That would be a God like accomplishment for him and create a huge trade market. There are options, but it absolutely won't just be saying goodbye to save the $20M IF he wins again. They'll cut or restructure half the team before they have to do that or trade one of the two. Personally I'd trade Foles and keep Wentz even though it may piss off half the fan base.

I’ll be honest. I don’t fully understand the contract situation but I know it’s not as simple as sign Foles for 20M. At a minimum Foles can opt out of that if the eagles exercise that. I’ve read that they could then franchise him but that’s even more (I think 28M).

Actually Dallas fans were more like

:wtf:

because it didn't make any sense :noidea:
Yeah they really fucked up, but not like Romo was ever going to win playoff games anyway so may as well destroy his back and try again.

EAGLES WIN

Always deserves caps like I've done for multiple pages.

You have completely cracked.

You claim Wentz will be starting in the SB yet I’ve cracked.

Haha

Got it!

<sigh>

Gets hit. Pops right up. Walks to the sideline. Walks off the field.

Looks excruciating.

'

And at that moment Wentz has an overdose of adrenaline in his body (among others a pain suppressant), which might be enhanced by Wentz maybe having a base level pain tolerance that is much higher than for the average human being.

Ripping an ACL could be painful (again, plenty of visual evidence in the sportsworld out there), or could be relatively pain free. Again, all dependent on circumstances.

And whether an ACL tear is painful or not says little about the period of time that is needed for a full recovery back to the pre-injury level. Most recon it to be somewhere between 9 months (best case at best) and 18 months.

Actually the Eagles won 5 of 6 at the end and half those games were Wentz's.

Only loss was a fluke overtime tip ball. I'm sure you at least saw that one.

Facts only round here please.
Really? WTF are you talking about??? They were fighting for the playoffs and lost 3 out Wentz's last 5 and were 6-7 with him on the year and looking at a top 10 pick the way they were going. They won the last 3 and then the playoff game because of Foles. There is no chance Philly makes the playoffs this year if they didn't sit Wentz down. No chance. At least admit the truth

WRONG!

It takes 12 months to FULLY recover from ACL surgery. It takes that long for the ligament to fully assimilate to the body. Oh... you will be pain free after 6 months but that does NOT mean that it’s fully healed.

Stick to that story of riding a bike and walking around on a broken leg tough guy. You clearly aren’t very smart.

All I know is, while I honestly don't expect it to happen, if Dallas somehow pulls a lucky win out of their ass tonight I am going to be the biggest Nick Foles fan on the planet tomorrow.

Now of course if Dallas loses I'll be praying for NO win and to end this silly "Big Dick Nick" run...

The sitiuation actually seems to be simple:

Foles is under contract for next season, for roughly $ 20 million.

1. The Eagles can opt out of that contract by releasing him (as they can with every other player).

2. As fas as is known, the Eagles can trade Foles (there does not seem to be a no-trade clause of something like it in the contract).

3. Foles can opt out of the contract by returning (part of) the siging bonus: $ 2 million in total (which, coincidentally is the incentive money has earned this season so far). If Foles opts out, he would become an FA.

Winning Super Bowls is tremendous.
Having 2 great QBs is tremendous.
Seeing 31 teams of jealous fans is tremendous.
Tremendous.

So Foles is now a “great” QB? Huh... have you told the several wentz fanboys who posted here earlier this news? They all used other words and phrases to descrube him.

Eagles fans are the poster child of "congrats on the sex".

You guys get laid for the first time in your life and can't shut the fuck up about it, while the other guys have to ice their dicks from banging out pussy for decades.

Unless you're a Vikings fan....

I said that.

What I don’t fully know and what you didn’t address was the Eagles ability to then possibly franchise him.

How did you break your hand? I’m guessing someone kicked you in the ass.

Yes, but if it happened that way they would franchise him and then trade him. They wouldn't keep him for $28M. Then they would use that draft pick or have enough cap space to get another FA QB to bail out Wentz when he gets "hurt" at the end of next year again...and the next year

The Rams are not better than you anywhere on the field besides QB. Foles already beat them. Please win so he can beat you too.

That's a great analogy. I was literally LOL'ing about it until I realized that made us Cowboy fans the guys that used to be the biggest studs in Town, but who put on a lot of weight and now haven't gotten laid since College!!!

I asked why wasn’t wentz placed on IR and you responded Super bowl.

Don’t worry. He can be on IR and waive the Pom Poms from the sideline.
