How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

Wentz is still not cleared to play apparently. Sudfeld is the #2 going into the Bears game.

I think we can put to bed the "Foles is a good backup " angle.

Foles is now 28-14 in his last 42 starts with a 92 QB rating including 3-1 in the playoffs with no game lower than a 101 QB rating in those 4.

Foles is not a "good backup ". He's just a really good NFL QB and has been since his 2nd year in the league . Guy deserves to start somewhere , if it's not Philly then someone else will get a top 10-15 NFL starter

Isn’t it funny that when Wentz puts up great numbers against the giants @PhoenixEagles1 is in here talking them up but when Dak does it 1) in a meaningless game to the Cowboys 2) in a game that very well might be Eli’s last game for the giants (which makes it important to them) AND 3) without Zeke... he’s in hiding?

I think there would be a desperate enough GM out there, might give a 1st for Wentz' potential, but PE1 way over value his lover. he will not be happy with your thoughts on Wentz
I'd give up our first for him if we hadn't already given it away for Cooper, but I'm not sure if they'll accept pick #32 :rolleyes2:

Philly haters don’t know what to do other than trash Wentz. The guy hasn’t played in 3 weeks. I guess it’s not a surprise that most are cowboys fans since they love to live in the past.
Come on...that was pretty lame

Agree, Dallas could use a backup, and with Daks durability its unlikely Brittle Bitch Wentz has to do anything other than hold a clipboard.

Since 2013 there is exactly 1 QB in the NFL ( other than Foles ) who has won 2/3+ of his starts. Tom Brady.

That's it.

That's the list

Live in the past says the Eagles fan who will say but we won a Super Bowl for the next 50 years.

Come on, now. Cowboys fans have been chirping about their 5 Super Bowls for two decades now. Those wins were 23, 25, 26, 41, and 47 years ago. Most cowboy fans I know weren’t even alive for two of those wins but it doesn’t stop them from bringing it up.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are the defending Super Bowl Champions and Cowboys fans are already annoyed after only one year of some bragging and celebrating. Standard case of them not being able to take a very small dose of their own medicine.

Being a dynasty with 5 Super Bowls is more brag worthy than finally winning your first Super Bowl. But I actually haven't seen any Cowboys fans throwing it around as a way to one up Philly. Seems like it's easier to upset you guys by mentioning Wentz.

There is a “5 > 1” post about once a week around here.

And what good is bragging about / celebrating accomplishments you never even witnessed? The Eagles won the 1960 NFL championship. Which is cool and all, but what’s that do for me today?
