Reminds me of story.

I’m playing poker at a casino with my buddy when two other guys sitting next to us and start talking about what happened after one of them left a nightclub the night before with a girl. They were trying to be discreet about it as everyone could hear them but my buddy wasn’t having any of it. After a while of listening to them talk in “code” my buddy just flat out asks the guy (in a not so quiet voice) “well... did ya fuck her?” The other guy (now realizing that we were all listening) responds “yeah... I fucked her.” Without missing a beat my buddy asks “did she cum?”. The other guy was clearly caught of guard by the question and didn’t know how to respond so he says “I don’t know... I was drunk.” My buddy replies “well if she didn’t cum then... technically... she fucked you.” The whole table burst out laughing the other guys face was beyond red!

Cap wise the Eagles are almost forced to run with Wentz and a rook or 2nd year QB as their BU.

The good thing the FO has is a 2yr window before they have to pay Wentz. Foles taking way less is almost an impossible thought but still a slight chance.

So true. The FO would be foolish to hand out top 3 contract to a QB that is injury prone at this moment. Take the 2yr window and if Wentz stays healthy and puts up consistent numbers from last season then pay him.

The Foles situation will get real interesting if they make the playoffs and make another run like last year.

That's a fair assessment. However I still say Wentz is no more injured post the Dallas game than he was a few weeks earlier. The injury was an excuse to sit him.

I'd say their record and chances at the playoffs was an excuse to sit him. If I could have, I would have bubble wrapped anybody who was going to be on the team in 2019.

I actually appreciate Munsons wit at times in shit talking. At least he normally uses thought when talking shit. (unlike some others)

(wont refresh all that Steelerpride has mentioned to both sides of this argument) Point being if the injury is as such, he should have been shut down for the rest of year. Fact he wasnt seems to me. If Foles faltered, Wentz could finish the season & no BS for offseason. Problem is Foles didnt care about that memo.
Wentz has a problem scoring over 24 points (unless it is the giants) & you guys were playing the Rams. Who is used to scoring over 24 points.
Foles did his job (as savior) that we know Wentz just doesnt do (score over 24)

Now Wentz has to stay injured until Foles loses (Which I guess he hasnt gotten that memo yet either)

Point being if you park your Starting QB for fractured back (micro or otherwise) this late in a season. he should have been parked for good. Fact that he hasn't....... You guys are looking for a late Christmas Present. Which only makes problems for you in the offseason.

Maybe it was the pressure of repeating, and maybe that was in Carson's head too when he took the field. And at this point, there is nothing to lose, so Nick is playing the same fearless way he played in the playoffs last year.
