How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

Amazing... you found one from 30 years ago. Want to go over the ROY that we’re busts. Lots of them.

All I'm saying is one year doesn't equal a career. Hence my saying the book isn't finished yet on these guys.
I've long ago agreed Wentz may very well out play Dak for years to come or one or both can flame out.

I've seen that both can play great, and both can look average. Yes Dak has regressed from his rookie year, but IF he can get near that he's a franchise QB. If Wentz fully comes back, and yes I do believe he will, hes a franchise QB. Again let's get through the book on these two and a handful of other young QBs before we seal their place in history.

That's all I've ever said.

It's a good possibility he might have won but the reality is right now he didn't. MVP means best overall player for that season but doesn't translate into best overall player. I like Wentz and he's a solid QB but for him to be a superstar, he needs to be consistent for several years in a row. Rookie year he looked like a rook, second year was contending for MVP and third year he's been ok. Next year Wentz needs to make that jump to the next level.

Totally agree!

The Great PsychicEnema1 has already foreseen this.

I hear you but it is easy to see who has the better ability. Wentz has everything and every measurable you want in a QB. Dak is flawed as a passer. Dak is very good at things and is a great runner. He just not have elite level potential as a thrower.

If you want to claim Wentz has a stronger arm fine but Dak still has enough arm strength to make every NFL throw. Where Dak is better is the ability to pick up hard yards on the ground.

If we could swap QBs today, I'd be willing to bet Garrett and Linehan handcuff Wentz with a short passing offense.
Sorry in the NFL there's to many variables to take into account. Again let the book play out.

I don’t think Dak has a weak arm, he has an inaccurate medium game. Dak is a better runner but when healthy Wentz is a good runner himself. Dak will never have the arm talent Wentz has. I think Dallas is forced to employ a short passing offense with Dak. Romo had a fabulous arm and they didn’t handcuff him. Ooh, add Lawrence to the list of players I wish the Eagles had too. That dudes getting $100,000,000

Well, I can't get this to format worth a damn, but here is the head to head comparison against common opponents for 2018. Looks pretty even to me. Definitely no single stat to look at and say that one is light years ahead of the other. Both look to be middle of the pack QB's. Guess the difference is one is paid like one and one isn't. :noidea:
I vote Co-AMVPs

I think it is more fair than what people who are claiming Wentz is light years better than Dak are saying. Which is just talk about player of the month and almost winning MVP.

Player of the month or MVP, which Wentz was certainly in contention to win, takes into account more than one game. Sounds a bit more of a measuring stick to me.

Dak is responsible when they lose, no credit when they win. Got it.

When exactly did I say Dak was responsible for losses? How you could come up with that from my post below that you had quotes is so bizarre, I never said any such thing.

Yeah I agree with that. And I'm late to the party and understand I missed a ton of posts. I just saw one game being used and it made no sense to me, neither do wins and losses.

And I said it here as well

To put wins and losses all on the QB without considering all the other factors such as the defense is stupid.

Bro... I appreciate you being a voice of reason but this is one huge troll/joke thread. None of them think Dak is close to as good as Wentz but the Eagles are champs and this is the retaliation to Eagle fans being obnoxious particularly me for saying Wentz is a star. They say some dumb shit like look how awesome Dak was V’s the Saints and how bad Wentz was... and they know I’ll fall for it hook line and sinker. It’s just a thread to screw with me. None of them would choose Dak over Wentz but it makes for an enjoyable thread especially since I fuel the fire.

i'm saying he's not a "flawed" passer. You're a fucking moron.

So in fact Dak is known to have a good arm like Rodgers and Brees. Yeah I’m a fucking moron.

See @Darrell Green Fan this is the routine. Not only is Dak a great leader he has a great arm too and is better then Wentz, Aaron Rodgers, Brees because he has more wins then them since entering the league. See how we do it in this thread.
