i don't get the Mazara love. he's yet to have an OPS+ at 100 and his minor league stats were never that great (.270/.352/.438). he's young, but I don't think he's really shown any improvement in his four seasons.

Dropping like flies this winter. Last couple were brutal. Definitely some higher AAVs this winter.

He benefits from having a cool name. Nomar Mazara sounds like he should be a good baseball player. The Rangers did the right thing trading Mazara and keeping Willie Calhoun, a guy whose name sounds like the guy who comes to your door and asks if he can rake your leaves for 5 bucks.
