Looking at players drafted 12th overall to get a sense for Flyers

The Flyers will most likely be selecting 12th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft–what other players have been taken with that pick in the past?

Most of the chatter around the draft is Celebrini is perennial all-star caliber, then the next 11-12 picks are 'top of the lineup' type guys. Doesn't seem to be a real consensus on how those 11-12 will go after Celebrini goes first.

I'm fine with that. Means we essentially get a "top of the lineup" guy no matter what. I'm assuming we will just take the best available, regardless of position, considering we could use a top guy at virtually every position. That said, hopefully one of the top 6 or 7 defensemen or top 3 or 4 centers falls to us. I'm sure we will happily take either one. I think at #12 overall, that's pretty likely too.

Provorov really wasn't a bad pick. He was a pretty serviceable top pair dman for the Flyers while he was here and the return for him (including the Walker flip at the deadline) was two 1sts, two 2nds, Grans, and cap dump Peterson. So they did alright with that selection.

I agree with this Prov was pretty good while here.
