Lets do this!
This is crazy because hes probably going to win the Vezina.Modern day Curtis Joseph, great regular season goalie, then disappears in the playoffs.

Gave up 5 goals a game, crazy how a team plays that good in the regular season and then, poof! They vanish. Of course the Avs aren't hurting for talent either so it was a tough storm to weather. I thought the Jets would have had more fight than that though. This is crazy because hes probably going to win the Vezina.
We could use him at center if he wants to come back and play for us.Bring him home
Click bait. Another agent stirring the pot.Bring him home
Read this tweet earlier, hopefully the relationship that got the two goalies here will get Michkov here sooner than later.
I don't know if an early arrival helps their long term plans.Read this tweet earlier, hopefully the relationship that got the two goalies here will get Michkov here sooner than later.

Hayes and his 3.5M are gone in 2025-2026.
Risto (5.1M) and Ellis (6.25) are gone in 2026-2027.
That's like 15M for zero production.
In two years, you'll also know if at least one of the three goalies (Ersson, Fedotov, Kosolov) has taken the next step.
I'm actually ok if he comes over in two years, though I suppose earlier is always better when dealing with Russian players.
This is true but if you dont get him over here as soon as it is possible you risk that the longer you leave him over there its more of a chance Russia pulls something like the did with Fedatov.Same. The 2 years to get things in order isn't the worst thing. Plus if he comes over now at 19 he gets through his ELC at a younger age and is likely more expensive when the Flyers are in a better position to compete.
But like you say, if you have a chance to get a Russian guy over, you take it.
This was my thinking also, if we can get through the red tape early I'd rather that then have to cut through a ton of ot when the time does come. This is true but if you dont get him over here as soon as it is possible you risk that the longer you leave him over there its more of a chance Russia pulls something like the did with Fedatov.
I hope not. He is just too slow at this point.Flyers Willing to Bring Erik Johnson Back Next Season
According to a report from Kevin Kurz of The Athletic, the Philadelphia Flyers appear willing to bring back veteran defenseman Erik Johnson for another season. Johnson, 36, was acquired by the Flyers in an NHL trade deadline deal with the Buffalo Sabres, making Philadelphia his third different...phillyhockeynow.com
If he is our 7th or 8th defenseman i dont mind him resigning.I hope not. He is just too slow at this point.
