Hmmm....$1million+ per start. I can't wrap my head around where the value is.
agreed, 3rd base is very deep.Rendon is the better player, but 3B has more potential options/depth than a top-tier SP, so I could see where the Nats are going with this one...they could make a run at signing Donaldson, and it looks like Bryant and Andujar and maybe even Chapman might be available for trade.
Pham is a good player for sure. The Padres won that deal.
Going to be interesting to see where Cole ends up. I think the Yankees will sign him.
When is he supposed to be able to play again? Hopefully soon. It's a one year dealHe had Tommy John surgery last year.
Think Cozart was a trade with LAA for cash.Giants signed Zack Cozart and Kevin Gausman. The deals are all going down now- I guess the GM's started drinking.
You’re just some average asshole if you’re making $14MM lolz14 million is just chump change now.

My dad remembers when Willie Mays became the first player to make $100,000 and people thought that was extravagant.Giving Gausman 9 million with an additional 1 million in bonuses..I would say you are correct sir.
The translators that run to the mound with the pitching coach/manager probably make three times that.My dad remembers when Willie Mays became the first player to make $100,000 and people thought that was extravagant.
Try $400M. The Yanks are primed to get him, but the Dodgers, Astros and others are in the mud puddle. If the Red Sox can dump off Mookie, they'll be jump in too.Cole's going to get over $300M from somebody.
