Majority of us review/rate the movies we watch for the purpose of helping others find or avoid new material. All commentary is welcome though!I saw the first one. Isn't this thread about rating movies ?
I liked the 1st movie as well. Had no idea they made a 2nd.1 liked Stakeland. Do you have a review on Stakeland 2?
Commonly & affectionately referred to as the BoobMeter or BM for short.Well, some of us rate the Boob factor as well.
Definitely not a bowel movement... Don't need to be rating that.BM??? Waitaminnit...
Will have to look into that. Reminds me of the Chiller channel. Definitely a good channel if you can find a provider that has it.Face, about that Shudder channel, they had a first month free tryout when I signed up for it. They still might. Didn't have a lot of stuff on it in the early going and I cancelled after that month. I might try it out again, tho. Looks a whole lot better.
Personally I think the first 2 Saw films were pretty intelligent, at least compared to the typical "Masked killer kills teens" type of film.
Third was okay, after that they went downhill big time, plot took a hit and they relied on these annoying flashbacks for about 50% of the film's contents.Yep, I thought they were both very good, especially the first one. Gets a little blurry after the second one.
Agreed. They blurred the timelines too much to connect some very distant dots. In the grand scheme of things it was still fairly clever, but the entertainment value was nil when the viewer struggles to follow the lineage. It's like trying to play a game of tag in a maze. Once you fell behind there wasn't much hope of catching back up. I had to watch some of them multiple times to finally realize what they were trying to accomplish.Third was okay, after that they went downhill big time, plot took a hit and they relied on these annoying flashbacks for about 50% of the film's contents.
I remember watching this one, but honestly can't for the life of me remember the ending. Wasn't that bad of a movie if I recall correctly?Friends Tyler, Emily, Sean, Hank and Amanda are traveling to a music festival. They arrive late at a diner that is closed. As they are about to leave they find a girl. Lucy in the parking area. Lucy claims that she is lost and the group decides to drive her home, to a farmhouse. They meet her parents Val and Wayne who invite the group to have dinner with them. Val cuts her leg with an ax and Wayne takes her to the hospital while the group of friends stay in the house taking care of Lucy. Soon they discover that the place is evil and try to flee. Will they succeed?

Most 1st-person filmed horror movies are garbage, but there are a few gems out there. As Above, So Below and Quarantine to name a few. Definitely few and far between though.im sorry but most horror movies today suck...i HATE 1st person pov horror movies...i think they are stupid
