Think I'm going to give this a go tonight. Pretty short but looks like a lot of fun!
Let me know how it is, I haven't gotten around to it yet. I just finished watching Bad Taste not too long ago.

It was amazing. It was pure nostalgia in every sense of the word. If you were a big fan of the original films then you must watch it. This shouldn't even classify as a fan film because it was so well made it could have easily passed as a full-length feature had a production company backed it.

Go watch it asap!

Watched Let It Snow (2020). Pretty cool movie. Slasher style thriller, but heavier on the survival & character conflict elements. Definitely not the smartest people in the world but made a decent go of things. Good imagery & progression. It lacks bite, but its still entertaining. Definitely recommend it.

Been a while since I posted the trailer so here's a refresher.

Typical Happy Madison production... LOTS of cameos....

Very stupid

yet funny at times. Couple belly laughs, but it's the same shit, 20 years later....

I would still throw it in Julie Bowen

Watched the 4 Blumhouse movies on Amazon. All very meh, not good, not terrible.

Face Your Fears on Amazon was really good. 4 short films, only about an hour in total, definitely worth a watch.

That movie disappointed the F out of me.

All they had to do was have the Meg mow through a bunch of swimmers like a Hoover vacuum and I would've been satisfied. Instead we got the stupid ass dog that should've been munched and some feminazi lesbo bitch talking about "Where did your hair go?" Finish it off with the EVIL WHITE MAN and I was just done with it... another PC/SJW film that should've been fun corrupted by Hollyweird.

I'm going to give this a shot this weekend possibly.
Well, that was better than almost all of the Friday the 13th movies! Maybe The Final Chapter, Jason Lives, or the original are in a similar overall ballpark imo.

Nice tight story centered in on the protagonist. Pretty good job on Jason. Some good effects.
I'll go 7 out of 10. The sequel Never Hike in the Snow is pretty decent also. Not as good as this one, but still well done.

Haven't had the time to do an official 31-Days of Halloween this year... but I've been squeezing in some movies lately

  1. Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)... Movie is so cheesy but so much fun. Honestly forgot about Daddario being in this.
  2. The Evil Dead (1981)... Never gets old.
  3. Silent Hill (2006) & Silent Hill (2012)... 2006 film was so far ahead of its time. Gotta be one of my top 10 favorites. I'd love it if they remastered it with newer cgi technology.
  4. Resident Evil (2002)... Still reigns supreme in this franchise. The cgi has not translated very well close to 2 decades later, but still a badass film.
  5. Jeepers Creepers (2001)... Practical effects are timeless. This movie will forever be a classic and one that I strive to watch every Halloween. Still feels like we were robbed with the latest trilogy installment. That was utter trash.
  6. Cabin In the Woods (2012 extended cut)... Still a guilty pleasure.
  7. A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)... Nostalgic experience. Love the creativity.
  8. Let It Snow (2020)... See post #5026 above.
  9. Never Hike Alone (2017)... See post #5024 above.
  10. Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)... Post #5018
  11. Love And Monsters (2020)... Post #5019
  12. The Beach House (2020)... A unique film that had some gnarly moments, but overall felt like it missed its mark. Viral zombies are usually fun but this was pretty blah.

Going to wrap a bow on my October/Halloween as usual with my ritual of watching a Halloween marathon... I think I made it to H20 last year.

Not sure if this one has been mentioned or not but buried with Ryan Reynolds is pretty scary to me if you put yourself in his situation

Just watched Never Hike In the Snow last night and I agree, not as good but still decent. The opening scene was glorious, but it sort of unraveled from there. Took on a much more dramatic approach and the acting seriously missed its mark lol. Less is more.

@FaCe-LeE-uS do me proper, bro... and give me a good monster horror movie. Something not quite mainstream, but I want something good with an actual monster. I've seen a lot... this is a bit of a challenge to you, friend.
