that's a negative.it got good reviews. Let me know if it is worth checking out
i did see hands of the ripper from the 70s or something where i think that was the gist, this was not that.Is that the one where the prostitutes are getting murdered or something?

Gonna go '78 as well.
Agreed. They did an excellent job on the newest look.Actually like the original in 78 but the newest is a fav too.
Only 3 of them were starkly different to me. In 1988, Halloween 4, they went with a bleached look that looked a tad cartoonish. Then Rob Zombie’s remakes were a much darker look. And then of course the newest look.i guess i'd go original, though i don't recall ever watching them all back to back or recalling much of a change to be honest.
I'll say that the first and the last ones are my favorites.Which look do you prefer?

Haig was definitely the best part of the first two in my opinion. Moseley is also good at chewing up scenery. Never really cared about Sheri Moon Zombie one way or the other. I might check this out eventually but thought that it ended fine with the ending of The Devils Rejects and didn't need a third movie.Watched 3 From Hell yesterday. Slightly disappointed in it. No Capt Spaulding hurt but understandable due to his health. He looked like hell. The half brother angle didn’t work for me at all. Seemed like a stretch to fill the Capt void. Baby being real looney toons wasn’t good either. Entertaining yet a lame follow up to The Devils Rejects.
