My guess is Hamels would pitch on Tuesday against the Giants which is when Harrison would have pitched next.
So as far as I can tell... the trade isnt "official" yet....
How "LA" would it be to have the Dodgers call up Philly one last time, include Urias or Seager, and steal Hamels away from Texas?
All PHIL has to do is say Alfaro's medicals dont check out.... (or Harrison's).

Yeah it would. Much better than vs Martinez. Now watch Martinez go and pitch out of his mind since I said that.MadBum vs Hamels tomorrow night would be great........
I don't think Harrison's matters. Hamels will get here one way or another as he and his wife both seem to want to come here. And if the wife is all for it then, well you know how that goes.So as far as I can tell... the trade isnt "official" yet....

Whether we all like it or not, I'm betting JD lands Hamels somehow. I also think David Price will be a Dodger but that is just mere speculation on my part obviously.
Pineda was put on the DL a few hours ago. Not sure who is pitching for the Yankees tonight.
Rotowire says CC is pitching
Missed on the Price speculation, but I was just about sure JD was gonna land Hamels. Still not sure I liked giving up as much as he did, but the salary the Philllies assumed and the $ makes it a bit more sensible. Still trying to wrap my brain around it. If the rotation guys do make it back in Holland and Perez and are performing well after the injuries, a rotation of Darvish, Hamels, Hollland, Perez and Lewis/Gonzalez would be pretty good I would think. Then a RH bat and BP help might round this team into something
If that rotation is healthy it is one of the best in baseball. That 1-2 punch is trumped only by Kershaw/Greinke.
