Royals still could use pitching. Yankees need it too. Blue jays as well.

Not too many more hours until the deadline, should be a few more happenings throughout the day tomorrow.

Gallardo may still get moved. Although he wasn't good tonight, he still ate innings and came up with a win. Toronto. New York, and KC could still use him.

Not sure what kind of return we might fetch for him, but it would be nice to get something more than what the comp pick would be, assuming he doesn't take the QO, which he will turn down w/o a doubt. At least a prospect that might crack the majors before that pick anyway.

Beltre finally laid off of the bad pitches and his walk put the winning run in scoring position. Hope he continues to do this as if I am a pitcher there is no point in throwing a pitch that hits any part of the plate or if it does it is up at the shoulders or down at the ankles.

Thing about Beltre is I don't think he's much of a deep ball threat right now.

Right. He is not able to get away chasing those bad pitches like he did in the past at least not until his thumb is healed which is next season. He has to be smarter about his at bats and realize that.
