No, no I don't.
Top 4 for four years running. Point differential last year was identical to the year before.

BispoMiege is a noted reactionary poster on Arrowhead Pride. It is a fanpost. It's the equivalent of me making a thread whining about the Frank Clark trade for the 4th year in a row and making stupid declarations.

What you say may be correct, but his article seems like a good assessment of the AFC west. The fact that you go after the author rather then the article tells me you don't necessarily disagree with the article.

A fan post? Whats the point in that?

Chiefs have had adversity every. single. year. since Mahomes was drafted. Yeah, the Chiefs are going through the same issues that Seattle did when they paid Wilson. But Seattle was also one of the worst drafting teams in the NFL. If KC avoids that, they'll be fine long term imo. Chiefs are also weird because their run happened without a top defense. So in a lot of ways its closer to late Patriots Brady than Seattle.

Nobody is promised a dynasty, though. Chiefs still need another CB, S, and DE. Probably need to develop another WR long-term. So yeah...probably shouldnt be #1 in the 'power rankings' next season but if they make the playoffs and fill these holes then no one will want to play them.

Yes very much the same issues. Also signing players like MVS and Ron Jones is very Seattle like. Chiefs will find picking very late in rounds to not be a great position to improve the roster in the premium positions like OL or pass rush or lock down corner because those positions will be picked clean before the Chiefs pick comes around. They can opt for non premium positions like RB or WRs or over draft a mediocre OL, pass rusher or corner.

They're locked into their entire OL for the next 3 years. A unit that would rank around the top 5.

SSDD. Chiefs have been dealing with this for awhile.

Chiefs have 35 out of 53 players playing for less then 2 million, so basically minimum wage for the NFL. Only 6 players make 5 million or more. Mahomes is getting paid, Chris Jones is making a eye popping 29 million, Brown is being held by the FT. This is what happens once you pay up for a elite QB, play well enough to end up drafting late.

The Chiefs on paper will be fine, their main problem is can Patty Maholms keep his families dysfunctional problems out of his head.

I posted that as a reaction to Chiefs fans saying the Chiefs have not been regressing.

They haven't been regressing.

Patriots, on the other hand...
What is wrong with seeing the logic? Is it against KC fan rules?
The "progress" you are making has taken their post season down a notch each of the last few years.

You get defensive or funny or both and bring up Patriots. Patriots were a losing team year before and had a winning season and playoff vist last year. That isi mprovement. Your deflection failed!

One is arguing a team being in the final four teams to win a SB constitutes regression. It's so aggressively tedious it shouldn't be taken very seriously.

The other end is comparing a team that went from Tom Brady to Mac Jones and hasn't won a playoff game since.
