I have posted facts about the increased size of players in almost 20 years. Others have merely countered with opinions.
They wouldn't be moving today's dLines off the ball in the same manner. Today's dLines are 30 to 50#s bigger than the teams they faced in '95.
You should read the title again or are you still traumatized from losing Meyer and to Georgia Southern?
You act as though the increases are astronomical and ungodly when in fact they're not. A few pounds here and there, a couple hundredths of second in speed doesn't make that much difference. And don't act like it is more because it is not or athletes would be 400# and running sub 3 second 40's.
It's more like tenths of seconds and today's teams have a lot more speed burners than in '95.
It's not just the better players, but the schemes. Few teams run the Power I today, because the defenses are better at stopping it.
VY running the Zone Read would torch the Blackshirts. Cam Newton would have the done the same thing. Hell, Manziel would have given the Blackshirts fits and probably led his 2012 team to victory.
2009 Bama would also beat the '95 Huskers, badly.
'95 Nebraska was the baddest college football team to ever grace this planet. Period.

5) Nebraska’s average margin of victory in 1995 was more than 38 points, the largest average of any Division I-A team since World War II. The margin exceeded a six-touchdown average despite Nebraska resting its starters in the second halves of most games.

I calculate 32.5 for OU in 1956.
They also only beat Colorado by 8.
I recall USA Today asking if any college football team could beat Miami, and Bama went into the 93 Sugar Bowl as heavy underdogs.
That was a very nice win for the Tide.
