Reports are he will be ready week 3 seem early to you all?
Who fills the second TE position since Hernandez is no longer in the equation?
Is Ballard still hurt?
I was thinking the Pats were smart to grab him last year.
if Gronk is still on the PUP list come the start of the regular season he has to list out at least 6 weeks so that would put him past the week three date. I guess it depends on what NE does with taking or keeping him on the PUP list.
If he's ready let him play.
I don't think so.. They are on the Active Pup List unless that means something other then what I unserstand.
Active PUP list???? I thought there were only two types of PUP lists, preseasons and regular season.

You are correct.
Either he is removed and on the active roster week one or he is not eligible to return until week 6.
What is the Active/PUP list?
The Active/PUP list is a list of players physically unable to perform at the start of training camp. Players on this list can be activated at any time and count against the roster limit. As soon as a player practices they cannot be placed on the Active/PUP list.
So a decision must be made before week 1, in this instance?
Yes.
I don't know the date (I believe it's when the roster must be cut down), but that list ceases existence and players must be activated or placed on the regular season list before the start of the season.
