Yes but they also signed that CB.

At this point Salary Cap is just a number. The Patriots just a couple of days ago signed McCourty to a $10 million a year deal even though they were over the cap even before they signed him. Teams find ways of getting around all of this. They have very creative Cap Specialist so while it won't be the easiest thing in the world they can get this done. Most likely in a year or two they are going to have to think long and hard about some of their top players signed and possibly cut one of them but for now they are still in decent shape.

Unger is a great center when healthy. Problem he has been hurt at some point every year. I wish him well

Yep... Unger has talent, but he wasn't on the field half the time...

There is a difference though in playing at a high level in those games. I would say Graham actually was a big part of the offense in only about 5 of the games this past season because of his injury and OL issues for the Saints. Unger while only playing in a handful of games I would say had 5 high quality games as a blocker.

We shall see what all happens in this trade but I do think both teams got quality players and the Saints have a chance to really maximize this if they can actually get a quality player with the 31st pick.
Weak attempt to cover for your statement.
If JG does not catch a pass, a DC still has to account and game plan for him. The Saints D is what let them down last year, not JG.
In before you say "I did not blame JG for the Saints woes". Which would be in the body of your retort if there is one.

Even if JG replicates last year's performance it would STILL make him our No. 1 receiver catches, yards and TDs.

What the hell man…..

Beast Mode and Graham in the same offense is not going to be fun to cover.
Graham didn't have a good season in 2014 and is oft injured. The Saints got the better of this deal.

Unger is hurt much more often than Graham is. Graham is also a much better TE than Max is a C. The Saints were able to plug a leak on a sinking ship while the Seahawks just made a 2 time SB team better.

Hmmm, can you explain this more clearly, especially the injured part regarding both players in the trade. Or did you only look at 1 side of this deal?:noidea:

Can NO be competitive without Graham creating mismatches in the red zone? No Graham means at least 10 other TDs have to go elsewhere.

Oft injured? I think he has played in almost every single game since 2010

I disagree. The Seahawks gave up their starting center and a 1st round selection for a guy that can't stay on the field.

Seattle super bowl again. Saints are so dumb. Why not trade Brees now.

He had a great season in 2013 but his play declined last season despite having Brees throwing to him.

Oh sheesh. JG was injured last year which limited some of his ability. It is why his numbers while still decent were down from years past. The whole 2nd half of the season he only had one game of over 80 yards. Now I know you will come back with "well teams were double covering him." Which yes is somewhat true but they were always doing that. Just like with the Patriots and Gronk teams try to double him all the time but he still put up great numbers. Graham's shoulder injury just limited him a bit and it showed up some on the field. I do expect him to have a bounce back year with the Seahawks where he has a full off season to get healthy.

I'm not sure why you are arguing with me so much on this considering I said it was a good trade for both teams. Both players had injury issues last year that could present a challenge but if both he and Unger are healthy then both teams got good value out of this trade.
