As a Heat fan, I used to say that when he was with us. it drove me nuts that it was never called. My biggest complaint of any rule in the game is the shooter jumping into the defender and the defender getting the foul.. I hate that rule, i think it ruins the game, yet WADE makes his living off it. I complain about it everytime. I might be a Heat fan, but that doesnt stop me from wanting the game to be played fair and correctly.

Ok fine. he might not be taking 9 step travels (which i think he had 1 of those already this series) but he definitely takes 3-4 steps or shuffles his pivot foot on alot of his drives.

Yea Curry has adopted it, Harden does it as well. I think it is an awful rule. What is the defender supposed to do. they cant just disappear. The rule needs to change where its a foul on the shooter or a complete no call, but no way should it be on the defender. Im okay with them calling it on Wade if it gets him to stop that crap.

They actually added it as a rule back in 2009 - and it was a point of emphasis that season - but they seem to have regressed back to the old way of things.

The rule states that if the defender jumps straight up - or in a manner that he won't contact the shooter - and the shooter jumps into the defender to create the contact - it will either be a no-call (incidental contact) or an offensive foul (when the contact is significant).
